Peekaboo Barn
A peekaboo game for the smallest players, aged 1 to 3. Animals and things hide behind barn doors, haystacks, bushes and clouds; a tap makes them pop out with their own sound and their name in big letters. No ads, no tracking, and it works offline.
How does it play?
Pick a world on the map. Six hiding places wait in each world. Your child taps one: a door swings open or a friend jumps up from behind a bush, makes its sound and its name appears. There is no wrong tap. Hidden friends peek out now and then, and when all six are found they cheer, hide again and swap places.
Why doesn't the app say the names?
The app never speaks. The name is shown in writing so that you can say it together with your child, in your own voice and your own language. You choose the language of the names (12 languages) in the grown-ups' corner, and you can hide the names altogether.
Where are the settings?
Tap the small gear in the top right corner of the map and answer the grown-up question. There you can turn sound on or off, show or hide the names, choose their language, and unlock or restore the full version.
What is free, and what does the full version add?
The farm is free: cow, goat, sheep, hen, duck and horse. One payment opens the forest, the ocean, the town and the home: 36 more animals, vehicles and things to find, 42 in all. There is no subscription. Family Sharing is supported on the App Store.
