How should I choose a reading level?

Start with a story your child can enjoy with a little help. Listen to a page together, talk about the picture and invite your child to try a familiar word or sentence. Use the 12-level book catalogue to explore stories, and follow your child's teacher's advice. Class Readers levels are not a formal reading assessment.
