Who we are
Class Readers is a children's reading application operated by Edict Digital Bilgi Teknolojileri A.Ş. ("Edict Digital", "we"). This policy explains what information we collect through the Class Readers mobile application and website, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and e-mail address (or Apple's private relay address if you choose to hide your e-mail).
- Reading progress. Pages read, books completed, quiz results and points, so that progress can be shown across sessions and devices.
- Voice recordings. If the Record activity is used, the reading recording is stored so it can be played back within the app. Recordings are private to the account.
- Purchase information. Subscription status is processed through Apple's App Store and our subscription infrastructure provider (RevenueCat) to unlock premium content. We never see or store payment card details.
What we do NOT do
- We do not show advertising of any kind.
- We do not sell or share personal information with data brokers.
- We do not track users across other companies' apps or websites.
- We do not knowingly collect more information from children than is needed to run the service.
Children's privacy
Class Readers is designed for children to use together with their parents. Accounts are created by a parent or guardian using Sign in with Apple or Google. If you believe a child has provided personal information without consent, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Data retention & deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app's Settings screen ("Delete account"), or by e-mailing us. Deletion removes account details, reading progress, quiz results and voice recordings.
Data security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on access-controlled servers. Voice recordings and personal data are accessible only to the account owner through authenticated requests.
Third-party services
- Apple / Google sign-in — authentication.
- Apple App Store & RevenueCat — subscription management.
